Reiki – ‘Rei’ means ‘universal’ and ‘Ki’ means ‘life force energy’, making the definition of the word Reiki the ‘universal life force energy’. You may have already come across the word Ki before but not realized it, as it’s been identified by all cultures and has many different names such as:
- Qi or Chi in Chinese.
- Prana in Sanskrit.
- Mana in Hawaiian
These different names represent the same meaning – life force energy.
Reiki is a simple non-religious therapeutic treatment, which will work whether you believe in it or not. It is universal and will not conflict with any religious beliefs you may hold.
Reiki could benefit some conditions such as –
- Sleep problems
- Panic Attacks.
- Relieve pain (physical and emotional)
- Reduce Anxiety.
- Emotional Issues.
- Rebalance and enhance the body’s energy
- Calm the mind and body.
- Nervous Disposition.
- Promotes Deep Relaxation.
- Aid detoxification.
- Generally improves health and well-being.
Reiki complements standard medical treatment; however it should never be used as a substitute to medical care
